Nimira began her journey as an artist over 20 years ago while residing in the Pacific Northwest. Though her innate talent with drawing stemmed from her youth, it was during her initial period of learning and expanding that her painting skills through formal classes that

Nimira was able to develop and refine her unique ability to put pen and paint on paper and canvas. 

 

Nimira’s versatile work has ranged in style from abstract and realism to modernism and contemporary art. She is an avid learner, never shying away from artistic challenges and continuously channeling her inner patience to complete each piece of work to a meticulous level of detail. 

 

Her passion for capturing the spirit and movement of the Sufi whirling Dervish is visible in many of her recent works of art. The peaceful and selfless nature of the Dervish is an art form in itself, and Nimira’s ability to articulate this through art is a true rarity.
